About Us
Yes, Diamond CliniPath is an accredited pathology laboratory serving Mumbai for over 35 years, with a Collection Centre in Charni Road and a Central Laboratory in Girgaon. We follow standard quality-control protocols for sample collection, processing, and reporting. If you need our accreditation certificate number for insurance, corporate, or reimbursement purposes, please contact us directly and our team will provide it.

Yes. Visit our Charni Road collection centre or Girgaon central laboratory during working hours. You can also book a center visit online.
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your home sample collection or collection centre visit by calling us at +91 22-46173842 as early as possible, ideally at least a few hours before your scheduled time, so we can free up the slot and coordinate accordingly. There is no cancellation fee for home collection requests that haven't yet been collected.
Home Collection
We offer free home sample collection across South Mumbai, including areas around Charni Road, Girgaon, Kalbadevi, Bhuleshwar, C.P. Tank, Grant Road, and Marine Lines. Home collection can be booked for individual tests or full health check-up packages, with slots available as early as 7 AM. Payments
We accept cash, UPI, and card payments at collection centres. Home collection payment can be collected at sample pickup.
Preparation
It depends on the test. Tests like Fasting Blood Sugar, Lipid Profile (Cholesterol), and Fasting Insulin require 8-10 hours of fasting beforehand - you can drink water but should avoid food, tea, coffee, and sugary drinks. Routine tests like CBC, Thyroid Profile, and most infection screens (HIV, Hepatitis, VDRL) do not require fasting and can be done at any time of day. Each individual test page on our website states whether fasting is required. If you're unsure, call us at +91 22-46173842 before your visit and we'll confirm based on the specific tests ordered by your doctor.
For a fasting blood test, avoid eating or drinking anything except plain water for 8-10 hours before your sample is collected - most patients find it easiest to fast overnight and get tested first thing in the morning. Continue taking any prescribed medications as usual unless your doctor has told you otherwise. Avoid smoking and strenuous exercise during the fasting window, as both can affect certain results. Once your sample is collected, you can eat and drink normally right away.
Reports
Most routine tests are processed within 24 hours. Specialized tests may take longer — our team will inform you at booking.
Reports are shared digitally once ready, and most routine tests are processed within 24 hours (specialised or outsourced tests may take longer - this is noted on the individual test page). You can also collect a printed copy from either of our locations, or ask our team to email or WhatsApp your report directly. If you booked online or via home collection, we'll notify you as soon as your report is ready.
