Preparation instructions
This sample is taken 2 hours after the start of a normal meal. Follow your usual meal timing and inform the phlebotomist when you ate.
The Post-Prandial C-Peptide test measures insulin production after a meal, giving insight into how your pancreas responds to eating. It is used alongside fasting C-peptide to assess insulin production in diabetes evaluation.
